Practice — 04
Honour what came before. Transform what continues.
What is Ancestral Healing?
Families pass down more than names and traditions. Beliefs, fears, emotional responses, survival patterns and unresolved experiences may also travel across generations.
Ancestral Healing is a reflective and spiritual process of recognising these inherited influences — honouring what came before while consciously choosing what need not continue. Not everything you carry began with you.

Our process
The question is not only, “Why do I feel this?” Sometimes it is also, “Where might this have begun?”
We begin with what feels difficult, recurring or unexplained.
We explore relevant family experiences, relationships and inherited beliefs.
We identify what may belong to your personal journey and what may have deeper family roots.
We use guided reflective and spiritual practices to loosen the pattern's emotional hold.
We support new choices, boundaries and ways of responding.
The approach
At Khoj, Ancestral Healing is approached with compassion, never blame — with respect for every family story, sensitivity to grief and trauma, confidentiality and recognition of personal choice.
We first explore whether the concern is truly connected to the family lineage rather than assuming that every difficulty is ancestral. We do not reject the past. We change how it continues through us.
