Karmic patterns in relationships and career: how to recognise and break them

The same kind of partner, the same kind of boss, the same ceiling. How karmic astrology identifies a repeating story and what you can do with that knowledge.

Karmic patterns in relationships and career: how to recognise and break them

A pattern is easier to see in someone else's life than in your own. In our own lives, each repetition feels like a new situation with new people. Only when we step back do we notice the shared shape: the same type of conflict, the same moment of leaving, the same plateau.

In relationships, karmic astrology looks closely at the seventh house, Venus, and the Rahu–Ketu axis. These describe what we are drawn towards, what we tend to over-give or withhold, and where unresolved lessons from earlier experiences show up in partnership.

In career, the tenth house, Saturn and the running dasha describe how recognition, responsibility and timing work for a person. A stalled career is often less about ability and more about repeating the same response to authority, risk or visibility.

Recognising a pattern has three steps: name the repeating situation, notice your automatic response, and identify the periods in which it intensifies. A reading gives language to all three so that the next repetition becomes a choice rather than a reflex.

Breaking a pattern rarely means a dramatic change. It usually means one different decision at the right time, supported by work on the belief underneath — which is where Theta Healing or ancestral healing can complement the reading.

“A pattern you can name is a pattern you can change.”
